Excellent deep dive into gold. Thank you. Could you please consider posting each deep dive with its own top level title? Easier to locate later that way.

That's a valid suggestion but we want to cover two stories each day, and posting multiple times a day defeats our purpose. We want to give our audience stories for the day, first thing in the morning.

Thanks for your reply. The newsletter email subject line is the hook. It only caters to the first article. But each article (with its own hook) might induce a different segment of your audience to open the email right away or do it later (which is probably never). Are you sure you aren't losing potential readership with the current approach?

It's a compromise on both sides, and we just decided to do it this way. You are right to say that we "might" be losing potential readership, but that's just a trade-off we are happy taking. I hope you understand :)

Sure. You might want to run an A/B test to see what performs better and by how much. (A) Current approach (B) Two emails (Daily Briefing Part I and II) sent at the same time with content-appropriate subject lines.
