Would love to see an article on Hindustan pencils (apsara & natraj pencils) and the ubiquitous GM Pens.
Also, would request you guys if some of the articles can be little bit more dumbed down so that even people without background in finance can understand the complicated charts and graphs!
I was surprised when you mentioned at first- first time diving into the stationary markets.. I am tracking DOMS for quite sometime. it's a wonderful company, but not at a wonderful price as of now.
Also, notable is the fact that other company products quality have deteriorated and right now, DOMS and the closest is Class mate whose products are really good. When I compare them to my childhood, I can say all those legendary old products are not that great anymore.. And thats the reason DOMS is at a premium compared to others! Atleast in my opinion, could be half baked opinion too.
Yup, this is the first time we crossed paths with DOMs. Not that we didn't know it existed, but never really looked at the stationary business. As far as commentary on product quality and valuations go, we too are learning about the space, although, there is no doubt that DOMs is very richly priced, partially also because it remains the only worthy player in the markets for somebody who wants to bet on stationary.
Recently started reading, kept me hooked till the oil markets ,it was interesting but then I lost it ( attention span🤌)
