Botswana will eventually pull out completely of DeBeers and manage its mines, supply independently and deal with those 40 -45 buyers directly. In-fact buyers are buying mines directly in south africa to integrate supply chain and have business edge. Having said that ND will still have relevance, market and that premium compared to LGD.
Lab-grown diamonds' retail price may be $1000 per carat. My sister's business procures them at 90-100$ per carat.
