We're hoping to sometime! They're not publicly-listed so the research will take a little more time, but it's impossible to talk about milk in India without these players.
Hi folks! Awesome read. Just one question, I still couldn't find the source for how Heritage foods procures its milk from majorly two states - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana?
"On the procurement side, the company collects milk from more than 3,00,000 farmers, spread across 10,500 villages in 9 states"
Read this in the source instead. Could someone from the team recheck the fact? Really keen on finding the source.
"Incorporated in 1992, Heritage Foods Limited (HFL) is a leading dairy company, predominantly present in the South Indian markets of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu (totalling 80% of sales with AP and Telangana contributing the most)." This line is highlighted in the video but I'm not sure if this implies whether the procurement is majorly from AP and Telangana.
Very well explained and to the point. I truly appreciate all the hard work you put in to make things simpler for us.
Thank you :)
A good article!
would also like to read about state-level milk players like Nandini, Aavin etc.. if that's possible,
