With that, I think it would be great (aligning with the other comments) if you don't take it as compulsory to follow a fixed pattern of 2 stories every day (till now) or 1 story + chart (maybe from now on). Instead, keep it flexible and choose whatever mix works for the day.
For example, if the topic is big, keep it as one long story like today (but without the chart), rather than splitting it across 2 days. If the topic is small, make it 2 stories, like until now. If there is only 1 small story, add the chart as the 2nd part, similar to today. And if it's something really big, like Budget Day, a major new policy, etc., there can be 2 big stories. Basically, adjust it according to the topic and the workload rather than following a fixed pattern.
This would also help me and others as well, as per comments, like if a lot of work or some function comes up for a few days, I sometimes can't read a long story on the day it comes out, and then they start piling up. Also, as I mentioned in my previous comment, when a big story is split across different days, I find it difficult to recall the details from Part 1 when I read Part 2 days later.
And if there is a lot of workload for the team, there shouldn't be any compulsion to put out 2 stories either. I know u are a small team managing quite a lot of newsletters 😱, all of which I read consistently😅, so even a small story for the day is completely fine.
But Tidbits is one of the best recent changes across all your publications. So, change whatever u want, but please don't change this. 😶
(As for the recent change in What We're Reading in the weekly Subtext, which I didn't really like—where u now give 10–15 random articles instead of 1–2 specific ones from each of u in the team—I didn't comment because I didn't want to discourage the effort behind it. Just mentioning it here; no need to change it (as per your wish) 🥲
Kudos to you guys for making it to one story. One can go deeper and honestly it was tough to follow two deep stories eveyday.
One suggestion would be to maybe provide your guys' spin on the Tidbits section like what they mean for each industry which in turn may lay a new pathway for a new story later on.. the charts section doens't really seem that insightful without a more detailed explanation (though this one was detailed)..
Reading/following one (more detailed/deeper study) story per day is definitely better than two per day. I had requested for this change in one of my comments earlier in the year. Thanks 🙏
In my opinion the charts need not be included. But if they do, the accompanying explanation can be done away completely and replaced by 1 more chart, asking readers for their comments on charts leading towards your next story 👍

One story is much better than two. It was too hard to read 2 big stories everyday, takes too much time.
